Data Clinic's Data Recovery Cleanroom
Providing a Clean Air and Anti Static Environment for
hard disk data recoveries
Clean Air: Clean
air provides the only effective safeguard against airborne particles
in the atmosphere, which can all too easily impair critical
processes in invasive hard disk recovery.
Contamination exists naturally in fresh air -
for example, occurring when particles are released from the
human body by movement and breathing, and also generated by
processes and machinery. You only have to look at a beam of
light through a window to see these particles in the air.
The naturally occurring contamination of fresh
air is approximately one million particles above 0.5µ
per cubic foot. |

Anti Static: Computer hard
disks are very susceptible to damage from static electricity.
Correct handling procedures are paramount as even
a small amount of static electricity can severly damage a hard
disk and cause problems accessing the data.
Static electricity is generated naturally within
the body and builds up over time until it is discharged - eg.
by touching something metal like a hard disk, by which time,
it can be too late.

Invasive Hard Drive Drive Repair
Invasive hard disk repair and recovery procedures require
work to be actioned in a clean air and static-free environment.
This type of repair is necessary when internal mechanical
damage to the hard disk has occured (eg. a head fault. Common
symptom: ticking noise coming from the hard disk) and it
therefore becomes necessary to open the hard drive to effect a repair.
Data Clinic's hard disk drive recovery cleanroom:
This facility allows our staff to work on your hard drive in
the correct recovery and repair environment, greatly increasing the
likelyhood of a successful data recovery.
